Thanx for the info. the recipe is very simple, although the authentic one is more greasy and therefore I suppose less healthy. the version I was planning on making is just water, salt, laurel leaf, chopped onion and of course sour crout. you can combine the ingredients in proportions u prefer. you can also add a carrot, a bit of leak and a potato - for flavour. 1st just cook the sour crout with water and when it begins to boil add the other ingredients. should cook for 40 min. if water evaporates, add more - or however you prefer. the authentic version calls for ribs or diced bacon ...

im asking once more because no one has replied:( i’m really craving sour crout and thought of having my 2nd-day-after-MC-soup made of it. i never came across this ingredient on any threads I read. also how soon after ending can met/fish be incorporated into the menu? I could probably live without meat for much longer, but I LOVE sushi....and that being a very simple meal (just pure fish, no additives) I thought maybe it would be in line with the proper way of eating after a MC. thanx in advance!   [End]

Make sure that your stomach is really full before you lay your eyes on the cake. so either lots of water or lemonade. being full might not kill the hunger, but will make it impossible to even think of having a piece of the cake. also, think of the most important reason for which u’r doing the MC, your goal, whatever it ma may be. You want to achieve it very much, right?:) well each time you cross paths with the cake visualise that goal, and FOCUS on it. the cake would be like taking a step back back from reaching your objective. hope this works:) good luck!   [End]

hello Everyone, day 8:) and already working out the operations procedure for the breaking the fast period. Have read many threads here and realized that it is almost more important to follow strictly the ’menu’ of the after MC, then the MC itself. a few questions: since day 1 id OJ only, don’t people get very hungry? and isn’t very easy to not make it through day 1? need advice from some experienced MC-ers. currently on day 6 (or 7, as I actually started midday monday, after reading somewhere that u can begin any time during the day, even if u’ve eaten before) my mood and hunger control were fine all until Fr (so either my day 4, or 5). Saturday I begun feeling really down because of poor results. I am one of those odd ones who does the MC for a jumpstart in the weight-loss, not purely for the cleansing. hello, I am still a little confused about the amount of liquid to be consumed per day. If I try to follow everything i think i should be drinking, i just can’t, it seems too much. maybe someone can verify for me? from what I understood one is to drink in chronological order: 1 litre (quart) of salt water 2-3 litres (quarts) of lemonade drink 2-3 litres of water a few peppermint teas (for me that is 3/4 of a litre) the lax tea at night (1/4 litre) that ads up to 6 litres at least and at most 8 litres. is that really correct? i can’t seem to drink that much. any advise? th ...

Dearest support group members:) my 2nd swf was lightyears different! I used your advise on the lukewarm water, I in fact melted the salt in preboiled, filling the rest of the Litre with cold. I also used a different brand of salt, since I had to do the swf right after waking up, instead of going shopping in search of the suggest brands, I just used another brand I have at home, which we use only for cooking, as it is the big chunky salt. for anyone else on MC being in the Benelux, here is my advise on local brands: -JOZO Salt, Grof Zeezout - had great effects, drank it in 5 mins, a ...

I’m not sure if American salt is different, but the one in Holland is u n d r i n k a b l e. it really was stopping at my throat and twice I thought I would vomit. As advised by someone I added peppermint tea to smooth the torture. one was not enough. when I had prepared a 2nd one and added it in to the the already above 1 Litre jug, an hour had passed since I begun the drinking. even with 2 peppermint teas, i was able to only drink 3 glasses. 1) are there currently any people on the MC who live in the NL? can anyone s ...
