They look like they both work; the more expensive one gives you the option to stand it up or hang it while the cheaper one is flimsy and won’t stand. Personally I prefer the old-style closed enema bags because I’m so clumsy I know I’d spill coffee out of the open kind. FWIW -- the Gerson people in the US don’t recommend the SA Wilson coffee for enemas. They tried it and said it ”didn’t do the job.” I have no idea what that means or if they’re correct or not. I think they suggest water-soluble lubricants because the alternative is presumed to be petroleum jelly which, as I mentioned, would eat through the latex. I don’t think vegetable oils are on their radar screen! In our experience of well over a year using coconut oil with condoms, it has worked fine. No failures. What’s wrong with using coconut oil with latex condoms? We do, and it seems to work fine. You wouldn’t want to use a petroleum-based product with latex condoms because it would eat through the latex. But I haven’t found that to be true with coconut oil.   [End]

Actually, the finest coconut oil costs far less than a lubricant you buy at Whole Foods. A small tube of lubricant costs about 5 bucks and contains about 1.5 oz. of product. That’s over $3.00 an ounce. A quart (32 oz.) of Tropical Traditions’ finest certified organic virgin coconut oil costs $25.00 -- less than $1.00 an ounce. If you buy the organic expeller pressed coconut oil (still very pure and much healthier and safer than the lube you buy in stores), it’s $18.00 a quart. All the lubricants on the market -- even the ones at health food stores -- contain nasty chemicals that you don’t want on your skin, much less on sensitive areas like a penis or vagina. So my wife and I recently started using coconut oil (organic extra virgin -- nothing but the best!) It works great! My wife has a tendency to get yeast infections but hasn’t got one since we started using coconut oil -- maybe because coconut oil has anti-fungal properties. Anyway, that’s our experience.
