PS: I have tried Aloe Plus, M****tech, Primal Defense, etc, etc, all those products did nothing besides empty my pockets. I just hope I can hold on long enough until this Whipworm product is released. Rumor has it that a German company is producing it. Well I just finished 28 days on P&B with minimal results and just started Oxy-powder 2 days ago. So far I feel absolutely terrible with *severe* abdominal pain and diarrea. I also feel lethargic and generally awful. These symptoms are not unlike the symptons I experienced during the first week of P&B. Does anyone have any guidance? Early on I had some severe reactions - I assume that these were some kind of detox reaction. When I began taking it, I had several days of flu-like symptoms that would disappear suddenly .. then they return a few days later. I’ve been taking P&B shakes (heavy on the bentonite) for 22 days now and still haven’t seen much. I am getting some stools that are mixed colors (dark black and regular colored) but otherwise have not seen a whole lot of ”action.” I need a pep talk! Either that or some advice about what I can do differently. I am taking 2 VERY large P&B shakes per day with about 3 tbsp on bentonite in each one. I have eased up on the psyllium to just 1/2 tsp because larged quantities were irritating my insides. I also consume at least 1/2 my body weight in ounces of water.   [End]

After having nothing happen for the first 17 days, just today I passed a stool that looked what I can best describe as ”marble cake” - it was light brown with dark patches. Yes I have read Dr. Rubin’s books and tried a very high dose of Primal Defense for 90 days ... it did not work for me. From reading the other forum messages, one possible reason for it not working could be that I have an layer of gunk protecting all the nasty bugs, parasites, worms, etc that Primal Defense is designed to attack. That assumes that I have gunk such as Mucoid Plaque lodged in my intestines - the existence of which the medical community denies entirely. Day 7 and I have hit the wall! I have been constantly light headed for the past few days, and have developed a sore throat. I had that sensation that shelley told me was the liver/bile duct (discomfort in upper esophagus) so I used some fresh lemonade sweetened with fruit sugar to do a flush. I will keep posting updates on the P&B cleanse for those interested in seeing how it goes. The flu-like symptoms (aches, headache, general malaise) finally disappeared. I still have not seen much in the way of bowel movements (only 1 per day, without much bulk.) The Crohn’s Disease continues to cause awful cramping, but has experienced some slight relief thanks to the Aloe Vera juice. It turns out that the ”discomfort” I felt was some kind of acid reflux. It took a whopping 15-20 TUMS to finally get it to stop hurting. I had an unusually large bowel movement today and vomitted up a dark black pulp of some kind. I am feeling a general sense of malaise, like I have a flu, but without any respiratory symptoms. I’ve had Crohn’s Ulcerative Collitis and severe constipation for 7 years and am hoping that cleaning out my system with P&B shakes followed by probiotics will help. I got the ingredients for P&B shakes yesterday and had my first one... took the psyllium and bentonite separately, but with LOTS of water (36 oz)....everything seemed to work fine. About 4 hours later I noticed a discomfort in my upper esophagus. Thinking that some of the psyllium had become lodged there, I drank another 24 - 36 oz of water, but the discomfort continued and today feels even worse. I have used Primal Defense and also heard success stories related to it. For me it only offered a small amount of relied, however, I don’t want to discourage you from trying it because I have friends with Crohn’s and IBS who claim that it cured them. The unfortunate thing about Crohn’s, is that some remidies work like magic for some patients but not at all for other patients. Thus there is no ”silver bullet” that works for everyone. I have experienced the same problem during flare ups. Since my Crohn’s is concentrated near my terminal illium (very narrow part of intestines, extremely painful location to have CD) whenever swelling occurs there my intestines are blocked off completely and I vomit uncontrollably. One time this happened while I was our surfing and I almost drowned. I have found that the key to controlling this is to be on a strict elimination diet (only foods you can tolerate) along with a number of the remission-promoting herbs discussed in this forum (see other threads.)
