The first colonic I ever had was 25 years ago. The very first thing the therapist did was a brief physical, which included measuring my vitals. She took my blood pressure, looked in my ears, nose mouth and eyes. Then she had me lie down on my side on the the exam table, slipped the gown I was wearing off completely and slowly eased an icy cold thermometer deep into my rectum.
