I was on a completely restrictive diet 30 months ago when I cured it.
Then my diet was organic macrobiotic restricted to very few food (whole grains, veges, white meat, cinnamon & tumeric).
After I cured I went back to a wholegrain diet that was less restrictive. Recently I’ve relaxed a lot and was including cakes, sweets, chocolate, soft drinks, alcohol, non organic foods - but still a reasonably healthy diet by western standards.
