I actually read the Bible from time to time, and can even see exactly where Jesus was mis-quoted in some way; or rather, where the essence is preserved, but has to be read carefully in order not to be missed. I don’t see anything Godly in todays instituionalized churches, whatever their denomination (except that some are less while some are more so). While I agree entirely with what you say, I’ll just add that church as an institution is much worse then it seems from the outside. Don’t forget that bible was written by humans, who were more or less inspired by God. Then it was retold and re-written (as there were no printing presses at the time!) many many times.
