I agree with Owen’s assesment of the other person, and loving forgivness is the key. Just abandoning anyone is unnecessary in my opinion. If you have forgivven them and still love them, why abandon them? I used to do drugs, and I’m still friends with them all. It’s usually hidden behind a wall of fear, anger, or low self-esteem.
