I started out with oregano oil to knock down the candida in my body. It works great, but you are supposed to rotate them so your candida or fungi don’t adapt to it and make it ineffective. I also took olive leaf extract, garlic, and grapefruit seed extract (nutrabiotic tablets-you can also get liquid drops for the rinsing). If you keep taking antibiotic and get no relief it’s probably a fungal infection rather than a bacterial infection. Antibiotics actually make you have more fungus/candida in the body. Get some Grapefruit seed extract and put a few drops of that and some baking soda in the salt water you are irrigating with. That should help also. I would also suggest cutting out all dairy as it thickens mucus and keeps it stagnating and in my case also induces swelling of my sinuses when I consume it. I had the same problem with my sinuses. Go to the doctor, keep getting antibiotics, none of them help ...

Hi Mima29, I have no answers on your x-rays. My problem was swelling of the sinuses. My doctor wanted to (his words) abuse the tissues inside my nasal cavity and once they were swollen up as big as they could get, cut away all the tissue that is swollen. Then when they heal and any leftover swelling would go away and I (theoretically) would then be able to breathe normally again. Extremely painful recovery and it just sounded very scary so I didn’t do it. I have struggled with sinus infections for years. I found out a couple of years ago that about 98% of sinus infections are caused by fungus. I agree with imaxfli. You definitely should go to the candida forum. Candida (yeast , fungus or molds) often causes sinus and asthma problems, and did so in my case. I had the same symptoms as you with my sinuses, always worse after eating and I couldn’t breathe through my nose at all once I had become vertical in bed. I had many, MANY sinus infections and took many, MANY antibiotics-always getting worse and worse. I feel you are definitely on the right track. Another thing you might want to check into is food allergies. My son was allergic to wheat and milk and when we took these out of his diet it really helped his sinus/asthma problems. Took us forever to figure out he was even allergic to them though. We used oregano oil on my son with his sinus and asthma problems and it REALLY helped. We bought both the gelcaps for internal use and the drops for under the tongue. It’s tough because those drops are nasty and warm. We actually added a bit more oil to them because they are so nasty tasting ...
