Ok start by placing 2cups of seed in a medium sized rubbermaid container.Add plenty of water and move the seeds around and see how much stuff comes off.Then pour off and rinse and massage the seeds and pour off again.I usually do this for three rinses.Then refill with luke warm water and let stand for 12 hours. Your climate should be great for control factors.Here in central Il. the swing in temp. and humidity makes things a bit problematic. If you want juice in a daily fashion you will have to have one or more flats ready every day.This will require prepping 1-4 flats every day or every other day.As well as harvesting and juicing. Germination ratios in the 90+ are what you want to sprout with. The seed that does not sprout will begin to rot in the flat.These non viable seeds will bring mold into the experience.That is never desirable and leads to flat failure. Have a stuck cutter from not oiling the shaft or leaving it on to long? Here is the solution. Prop your juicer up with the cutter facing down, then drip cooking oil down into the cutter shaft and let it sit for a couple of days. Now take two flat screwdrivers and work around the edges of the cutter. This works nearly every time. It just takes a lot of patience.   [End]

The greenstar is an excellent juicer with optimal crushing power.I have a greenstar 2000 that I have had for 5 years and truly enjoyed it. You can run some apple with carrot to sweeten up and add a little smoothness to it.The taste of straight veggie juice will grow opn you if you keep at it. I would get the hd version if you plan to use it alot. I have already cracked 2 screens on the vert 330. They are sending me an upgrade this week to bring it up to specks. The HD is the third run and the issues of back up and screen cracking have been addressed. They increased the pulp extraction port by 28% and made a screen that is 800% stronger.
