hey anthony,

the actual term lunatic comes from the lunar society of great britain which at the time(more than 100 years back) included some of the most brilliant people in the world(
bernard shaw, eddington etc). the members of the society were called lunatics as they met on a full moon/new moon(i cant remember which maybe both)

i guess there is a fine line betwaen genius and madness:-)
