Hi Hopsinso - thanks so much for answering so quickly. I was at work and read your reply, but could not respond. I was weak and could not even do 1 day of fast....seeking rather some comfort food to calm my nerves about this matter. My husband was (of course) dead set against me fasting. I wish I could have done it, but I don't think I'm in a good frame of mind right now. I have been making some progress at eating a healthier diet and my tongue was almost clearly pink this morning - that's always a good sign.

I guess I am having the procedure on Thursday. AGH...I just never thought of myself as being old enough to start having heart trouble but that is a ridiculous attitude I know. I don't have any chest pains, just a lot of difficulty catching my breath and then the irregular beat. Perhaps with treatment I can start to feel better immediately as the other poster mentioned.

I certainly hope all is well with you and that you are continuing to progress in your healing process. How has your back been doing? It's good to check in and hear from you and I pray Mike is well also.
