Okay, actually, I do have more to say.
If I wasn't clear enough with my intent of my last post - you must know something: the answer to all of your questions ALWAYS lies within. Deep down, you already know the answers, don't you?
And I want to tell you that you are a great, loving person. If you do decide to go your separate ways (and it sounds like that's where life is taking you), please know that you are not being mean or unloving by breaking up with her. The truth is, she does not NEED you. You do not NEED her. Even if you were a "match made in heaven" - each person must have their own confidence and peace that comes from within, not from someone else. It is possible that breaking up with someone can actually be a compassionate act. I have been through this myself. The way I broke up with her was not exactly loving, though - but deep down I knew it was the right choice. So I did it. And I do not regret it.
Having your family close right now would probably be beneficial, in my opinion. Love and support is very important in life (we're not in it alone here), and your girlfriend does not share this with you, unfortunately. Again, if you do decide to leave, know that you can still love her - but make sure you detach from the relationship. There's a difference between affection and love. I would say that love means you truly care about someone's well being. It isn't necessarily a romantic thing. Love her like you love your family.
Feel free to email me, if you want to talk further.
