To my knowledge, ropes are not parasites, but long
sections, look like ropes, of mucoid plaque from the
walls of the bowel. Usually looks like old stuff
that's been there forever. I often call them 'paleo
poo'. This is usually old mucous produced by the
intestine combined with fecal material.

Ropes can be passed I think during any type of
cleansing, bowel, parasite, etc.
