As alluded to in the article, some pathogens are really jet-propelled by FOS. If you have had or currently have Klebsiella (and about 5% of the population seems to), do not use FOS as a prebiotic. Klebsiella loves it.

Many people have dysbiosis caused by mixed populations of pathogens and mistakenly think it is "just Candida". Many also think there is only one kind of Candida. This is not true. There are many pathogens and many strains of each of them as well as many strains of Candida. This results in an assortment of sensitivities and resistances. If shotgunning with a good diet, a standard probiotic and the use of a standard bacteriostat or fungicide such as olive leaf, Grapefruit-Seed-Extract or garlic doesn't do the trick, consider testing to see what sort of mixture you may be harboring. The old hands here know this. I am just stating this for the newbies that are constantly finding our little community.

Hope some may find this helpful.
