I am also seeing a doctor of chinese medicine and have done one flush under her instructions (which are different than those described here - olive oil in the morning after a night of fasting. I actually drank olive oil cut with nothing the first time. The second time I did a flush with grapefruit juice and it was so much easier to get down.
