I was beginning to wonder if my comments were so poorly written that they were incomprehensible. And so I'm relieved to see someone acknowledge some of the statements made in my posts.
In short, it would appear that my friend somehow misunderstood the initial criticism. And that he appears to have confirmed my point in his closing statement. To which I'd add, the issue(from what I can see), is not one of whether or not a process can produce nano-sized particles, but more specifically, whether these can prove to be better than silver ions based on particle size alone. To which I'd add, Science tells us that there can be no smaller silver particle than an ion. Which in my opinion, defeats the initial premise to begin with.
With that said, there is more to be said on the topic of the structure of nano-particle silver in that these are subject to flocculation due to their neutral charge. Of which I believe works against the principal of Colloidal Silver and in comparison to ionic solutions.
