Hmmm, well now I am really confused. The links on this CZ page seem to say that taking large amounts of Iodine can be dangerous. Am I doing this all wrong?
From Dr Tennpenney:
"Rapid addition of Iodine can cause a list of side effects including thyroid suppression, palpitations, and skin rashes. Interestingly, a sudden increase in Iodine intake may be linked to the development of a goiter, which is paradoxical since most goiters are linked to iodine deficiency."
and from Violin:
"Giving iodine to a selenium deficient thyroid is like throwing gasoline on a fire: you get a lot of damage in the thyroid."
Am I doing this all wrong guys? Now I'm kind of freaked out!
