"What else should I test for? Maybe I have a food intolerance?"

The question is not "Do I have a food intolerance?"

The real question you should ask is: "What foods do I have problems tolerating?"

Why?

Cause if you do have a chronic condition in the eczema, asthma, allergies, etc spectrum (including but not limiting to atopic dermatitis, EC, oral allergy syndrome, Seborrheic Dermatitis , other environmental and food allergies , asthma, etc), the question is not
"Do I have food intolerance?", cause you for sure have problems tolerating some foods, the real question is" what is the best way to find what foods you can tolerate and how to avoid those foods".

Another question is:
"Is avoidal of problematic foods enough to let your body cure itself?"
The answer to that question you can only find through trying it.

I believe one of the reasons why some of the people on this forum still have EC could be because they are not even able to ask the right question, and they are not even willing to look for the right answer, cause the right answer generally involves hard work and making significant lifestyle changes.

If your lips are burning after eating tomato sauce once, twice or 3 times, and you are still unable to get the message your lips are sending to your brain, maybe you are not suppose to be healthy?

Have you ever asked yourself that question?

How many messages do your lips have to send to your brain before you are open enough to receive those messages and to learn from those messages?

When will you start writing a journal of everything you eat on one side of a page, and writing the changes with your lips and your health on the other side of a page?
Why?

Cause some reactions to food eaten occur 3 seconds after eating it, but other reactions may occur 1 hour later or 6 hours later or 12 hours later or 24 or 36 or 48 or 72 hours later ... correlating reactions to food eaten with what you ate may not be as easy as with tomato sauce, without having a detailed journal of everything you ever put in your mouth, every food, every snack, every drink, every toothpaste, cosmetic on your skin, jewelry, piercing, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, floor washing chemicals, lawn treating chemicals, carpet washing chemicals, wall paints, floor paints, etc, etc.

Every single chemical reaching your mouth, your nose, your skin, your clothes, air in your house, air in your office, may be EC trigger.

Maybe it is time you start taking responsibility for your health, and you start taking health matters in your own own hands (and your own mouth)?

These are just a few questions I am wondering about after reading hundreds of similar messages on this and other similar boards related to EC, eczema, etc....
