I assume you are talking about shirodara oil dripping.

It's not going to hurt you, and it may help but probably not. Once you become healthy the oil massages may help a lot more.

Moritz never recommended a vegan diet for anyone, go back and reread his actual words. All he did was repackage some ayurvedic information in his books. Western ayurveda aka McAyurveda is not very accurate or helpul, and unfortunately Moritz was a McAyurveda enthusiast.
