By the way, Eevn cdc is are not experts on parasites, at least not on doing stool tests. And D. fragilis is what is often mistaken for Eh. And most doctors dont know how to find eh. let along others. Cdc is goo at finding things like Strongylodies.
BTW, this is what CDC Says:
"How is infection with Dientamoeba fragilis diagnosed?
Your health care provider will ask you to provide stool specimens for testing. Because the parasite is not always found in every specimen, you might be asked to submit stool from more than one day. You might also be tested for pinworm eggs, which sometimes are found in people who are infected with D. fragilis."
This far from saying that pin worms carry EH/D. fragilis. And CDC list of drugs for D.fragilis is wrong. No one will better with Metronidazole or Idoquinal, which they lst as two affective drugs, and list them as to be taken separately, which is also wrong.
