hey drylips, thanks for the insight. How' s the steam treatment working for you? I've been on it for 5 days now and what I've noticed is that the crust really has no time to form (which may or may not be a good thing). I've let the crust form a million times and it always returns, so maybe a different route could be better. I'm also now using a humidifier which seems to help my lips not dry out during the night. My point is, the blow dryer thing, while providing heat, lacks humidity, It's very dry air and, like the indoor heating many of us use during the winter months, it can really dry out the skin (lips included). Good luck and keep pushing! I'm really starting to think there might be something to this whole steam treatment.
