I use brown sugar,ginger slices,lemon slices and a couple of figs in mine.The grains are multiplying so much that I don't know what to do with them.I've been trying to give them away and encourging others to get on the kefir waggon but they think I'm weird!They would rather buy the expensive probiotics in the HFS.
How long can the kefir water be kept out after it is strained? And what do you guys do with all the extra kefir grains?
