I had to respond to your message, I could have written it myself. I had the same tests that you did, so I guess the same symptoms. I was seeing a neurologist, psychologist, chiropractor, had every blood test done under the sun. They were looking for MS, chronic fatigue, Lyme disease, dementia. Really scary times. And I see from your username you are in NJ. I am too. I take a look here on curezone once in awhile to see what is going on - I had the Mirena removed last year in February. Just know that you DO get better. I still carry the 25 plus pounds I gained in the first 6 months of having it, but other than that, I feel like myself. New year, new resolutions for weight loss (again) I guess the things I complain about now have nothing to do with the Mirena, it's just myself getting close to 43.
I know what you're going through. I had such bad memory loss and mental confusion. I was forgetting who people were, even those who I knew for awhile. How to get places - getting lost in my own town. And I was terrified of not knowing if I was taking care of my kids right. I knew I was simply blank at times, but I was afraid that there were times that I wasn't aware that I was out of it. Not knowing how bad it was going to get was terrifying. So, I know - And like I said, I just wanted to pass the message along that it is the Mirena - and you will get better. One more thing about your husband wondering if your crazy - my husband actually asked me if I had been pulling out my own hair. Yeah right! Like I want to be bald and then cry about it. He just wasn't sure what the heck was wrong with me.
