I like your words, Turiya.
We are one indeed.
Maybe we can't really forgive the others, if we can't forgive ourselves.
And maybe we can't really forgive ourselves, if we can't forgive the others.
Therefore, I prefer to see the forgiviness as a 'state', rathen than isolated actions.
If we decide to stay on that 'state', we will certainly forgive ourselves and the others. It will be a natural consequence.
It's wonderful when we are in love. We see the world different, there's no room for negative feelings. When we fall in love, when we are in that special state, the world looks different... because we are different, right?
And I'm tempted to write: The world remains the same. We just look with 'different eyes'... when we are in love.
Imediately , after writting the last sentence, a thought came to my mind: Wrong! (We and) the whole world has actually changed. It is different. We are one.
A slightly un-related example, to illustrate this little tought:
Modern quantum physicists knows very well that we change things by just looking at them, aka Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle .
