It is very possible, in fact likely, that iodine, in any one form or another, is not going to set well with any number of people.
That is exactly why I think this forum split in the first place. Discussion about the pros and cons of certain iodines is most important.
I think though, that if one person has problems with a particular form of iodine, we should know as much of that person's thoughts behind why one does not work where another does. I understand this may be pure speculation without testing, but if enough people put together health histories, former drug usage, including OTC, prescription and illegal drugs along with diet and environmental exposures, and even age (born after the 70's would be an extremely important factor), it is possible that we may be able to eventually put some solid reasoning behind the issues with one form over another.
For instance it does appear that people who have had quite the history of fluoride and or bromide based drug use along with environmental exposures seem to have a rougher time going right to the higher dosing, be it Iodoral or Lugol's... I even think I remember some issues with the detoxified a long time back...
This is one reason why, given today's humans, running on the other three halides, they should most likely take a clue from Dr. Jarvis and/or Cayce and follow their protocols for a year or more with breaks and just let the healing take its time; assuming no immediate threats to health.
