I would highly recomend checking out wheatgrass.com. The pines corp has a fact sheet section that will address your need for knowledge.They have been growing grasses for over 30 years.There are many good books on the subject of growing grass as well.The best ive read so far is wheatgrass nature"s finest medicine by steve meyerowitz.Also visit wheatgrassman.com a very informative site on growing the best grass possible.I also like his seed,I get a 30% increase in yield compared to wheatgra SSKI ts.com seed.Here in central ill. the summer heat is cutting into my yield 90+ degree days.The barley grass tends to do best in these adverse conditions.I use grow racks with 60% shade cloth good luck and happy growing!!
