Re: A Few Newbie Questions?

The life force in the grass is at its peak in the young sprouts. You can grow wheat/barley grass up to the jointing stage, for juicing.Getting to the jointing stage in a flat is difficult because of root bounding.I personaly dont use a second cutting, rough growth and bad taste! The roots start to sour at about 12-14 days, depending on conditions. If you think 1ozs is energizing you have to try 20+ozs,its incredible! There are 2 ways to grow,1 for sweetness2 for maximum nutrient density!Technicaly speaking no one grows with soil unless they grow it in the garden.I use 6cups peatmoss 4cups cottonbur compost 2cups betterearth compost 3cups perlite and a scoop of azomite, all are soil augments.I have a greenstar2000 juicer, but the omega is a good choice as well.Growing grass is not for everone,it takes time and effort to grow grass.Mold is the biggest proublome, moisture control is the key.Good luck and may vibrant health be yours!
