Thanks Stannarad, I really appreciate your help.;-D
The problem is that my allergies are so extensive that when I say I can only tolerate a dozen foods, that is really the grand total of the foods I can ingest without being sick.
By experience, I cannot tolerate dandelions, beets, green beans, spinach, carots, and of course all the nightshades. Generally speaking, anything that has any taste tends to give me a reaction.
As far as veggies are concerned, I can only tolerate broccoli, most cabbages--cauliflower and brussel sprouts in small quantities because they give me gas--lettuce and zucchini, period.
Due to a hepatitis I had when I was a kid and possibly a genetic weakness, I always had a weak liver, and could never drink alcohol or wine because of that.
So when I say it's a catch 22, it's quite real.
Despite the fact there is very little I can do, in terms of substances to ingest, to heal myself, I refuse to give up hope. As I said, my body healed itself naturally twice when I had this problem before, it's just going to take longer this time.
