I wonder if anyone else has a similar experience to my own and possible suggestions. I have been suddenly interested in the Yogic practices of Pratyahara and Dharana (removal of consciousness from sense objects and concentration) as a means to combat the fact that a) I live in Los Angeles and b) I have strong negative emotional reactions to almost everything I see and experience, thus c) I am creating more of what I don't want.
Does anyone else struggle with this, and how do you combat it?
