That was just a way of saying, if people knew the
intricacies of what you speak, that they would not
accept it. If someone asked you for your son, you
would not physically hand him over, and yet we have.
Its troubling and makes me wonder is just
for liability issues or is it something darker
and more sinister. I think homeschooling is the
way to go if possible. And yes, we had to go through
the, you have to be wrong because the teachers at
school do not say that. Jeez, our first battles
were over my daughters teachers giving her candy
as rewards, which we did not give her at home so
she thought, aha, my parents are the backwards ones.
I also went a round with them because one teacher,
in second grade, would pit the girls against the
boys and this was not something I felt was appropriate.
We negotiated so the teams included girls AND boys.
