Re: Work at a restaurant

Hi Kia
Lucky for me I don't share your same problem. I also feel lucky that unlike some of these other people I don't have children that I have to prepeare meals for. Both the resteraunt and kids sound like difficult temptations! I just have a boyfriend who comes home from work and eats like a dozen things in front of me. Actually he is very supportive. Anyway as for your problem, I know it sounds cheesy (no pun intended) but if you can sort of change the way you think about the food as you are craving it, it definately helps. For example, when you are looking at the pizza and smelling it and wanting to eat it... just picture what it will look like as it is putrifying in your bowels. Not so appetizing the. Honestly, I know it sound hokey, but craving are a mental battle, and you are in control. Just change the connection that that food makes for you in your mind. Visualizing this new image, instead of the ingrained trigger sometimes helps. Best of luck to you!
