Casual flushing or Doing it all wrong alright!

Just finished Liver Flush number 6 and had a great flush, even though I did no preparation and no follow up. In fact I broke most of the "rules."

My last couple of flushes were mediocre and I was beginning to wonder if I just didn't have a lot of stones to flush. But yesterday I realized it had been 2 or 3 weeks since my last one and Shelley - from the Ask Shelley forum -says a new moon flush is more productive so I figured what the hay, I might as well flush tonight.

Actually, I had had some "inappropriate" meals the last couple of days so my stomach was feeling kind of heavy and like it needed a rest. Yesterday morning I ate a banana and some tea for breakfast and that was when I decided to give my stomach a break and fast the rest of the day. Then I decided if I was going to fast for a whole day I might as well do a Liver Flush since for me that's the hardest part of a flush, going without dinner!

I did get a little hungry and sorry for myself when I had to fix my husband dinner and serve it to him, so I drank a little apple juice. Then about 9:30 I took 400mg of magnesium citrate and maybe a half hour later I took two capsules of triphala for "just in case."

At 11ish I realized I only had one grapefruit, but luckily had some lemons, so I mixed up half a cup of olive oil and juiced the grapefruit and a couple of lemons. I drank it through a straw, as I've found if you put the straw way in the back of your mouth you don't taste it much at all. Then I just went to bed.

Well, this morning, I've been to the bathroom four times now and gotten out bunches of stones. I've potty trained four kids so I've kind of had my fill of pawing through poop, I don't really want to get that "up close and personal" so I don't inventory or anything but I was pleasantly surprised to see bigger stones than I've gotten out before. And plenty of them!! I did take a couple of leftover Oxypowder capsules this morning just to keep the party going. The Oxypowder seems to work the same as the epsoms on me, but capsules are so much easier. I usually feel fine after my flushes thanks to Shelley's recommendation of EmergenC.

I wanted to post this in case some people were intimidated or confused by the whole process of liver flushing. Apparently you don't have to do everything perfect to have a great flush, you just have to do it! Even doing it wrong works! I'm usually the kind of person who needs to have a couple weeks advance notice and prepares all the potions beforehand and lines them up on the counter beside the stopwatch, so this was a really laid back flush.

I do need to say, I'm not advocating this for anyone else. I have done 5 previous Liver Flushes and am in excellent health. I guess, like most things, just doing it a few times takes the mystery and fear out of the whole process. After reading about people who inadvertently flushed after eating ice cream and lemonade or whatever, I guess I lost my fear of "doing it wrong." I feel like my body really wants to cleanse and repair if I'll just give it half a chance!

My best Liver Flush ever - I call it the Whaddav-I-got-to-lose flush!
