I found out why okra is so good for the liver and kidneys. It is high in glutathione, which is a great detoxifier. Also included are grapefruit, avacado, and watermelon. I am sure there are more to this list of high glutathione per serving foods. I just saw this in one book.
I have been eating Bhindi Marsala (Indian Spiced Okra) at an Indian restaurant and the effect on my body is so amazing. I have so much energy after eating it.
