Help With Lemonade Diet

so i want to start the Lemonade Diet but im a bit confused some websites say to drink maple syrup, lemon juice and That pepper i forgot the name of it!...but they dont say anything about the salt water, so my question to you guys is do you really need to do the salt water drink!?!?!

I just went out to buy the things but i didnt get no Sea Salt do i really need it?????!!!!!
