First of all when I asked different questions I just wanted to make sure that you were not anorexic, as it is common for them to lose their periods due to weight loss.
I am curious to know why a doctor would tell you that you have to be 110 pounds in order to menstruate. When I was much younger I was as thin as 95 pounds and menstruated regularly.

If you are of menstruating age, you need to be menstruating. Furthermore, I do not agree with regard to what she says about mating. It is ridiculous. As a matter of fact sex with your partner whether to conceive or not makes for a healthy relationship and health in every other way, mental, physical and emotional. And it burns calories too! LOL
Stay with your period and make sure you are getting the proper nutrients.
