MG, please heed the above advise.

I wholeheartedly agree that a period suddenly appearing is a sign of an undernourished body returning to health and normalcy.   What is truly unhealthy is the prudish and twisted idea that still pops it's ugly head into our culture, that of a woman's normal function being disgusting and a cause for being ostracized.  Boo on that.  If the absence of periods were the ideal norm, then somewhere and at some time in world history you would have seen populations of women without monthly periods, but as it stands, it is the norm for women everywhere.  It is the absence of monthly periods which points to some other health problem, like ovarian cysts, endocrinological disorders, malnutrition, etc.

Lluella,
I have never spoken with you before and I only recently started to notice your posts and see them in connection with Don Q.  I think it is wonderful that you both have come to Curezone and I delight in reading your posts.  I also think it's prettty neat that you have a manx for a pet    :-)  ............

Regarding the idea that periods are a sign of toxicity leaving the body, perhaps you are not familiar where this originated, but it has been proposed frequently on some areas of this vast website.   Here is a link which typifies that philosophy.  Feel free to look around for yourself and comment on it, if you wish:

Many blessings to you.
