Re: Can I use a colon cleanser for constipation?

I agree with skip. There is one on TV called Amighty Cleanse which is for 7 days. It has a good review on cureszone. I have never used ozypowder, but that also gets a lot of good reports. It is tough trying to find something tht isn't habit forming or harmful.

I have been having chronic constipation for quite awhile. Today, I finally saw a GI doctor that told me to take Miralax,2 teaspoons of mineral oil,and a suppository in the morning and one suppository at night. I am supposed to do this till I see him in two or three weeks! On the bottle of mineral oil it says don't take if you have trouble swallowing(Which I do), do not take if you are aged (I am)and do not take with food and only take before bed. The suppositories you are supposed to take one a day. Miralax you not supposed to take over a long period of time as well as the others. I am supposed to take a ct scan drinking two bottles of barium and another test the next day drinking something else. To me that just is ridulous. What are my chances of surviving this? I am not going to follow that advice because I don't have a family to sue this quack!!!

I also would like to know if anyone has used Almighty cleanse lately as I am thinking of giving that a try since it is only seven days.
