Thanks ella, I lasted five and a half days. Probably overdoing it a bit coz I didn't prepare at all apart from psychologically. But a great success nonetheless. :) The important thing for me now is to keep it going after a couple of days eating fruit and juices only. After reading a lot about 'Dry Fasting' on the internet I have a greater understanding of the difference between the two. When I go back on the fast- probably day after tomorrow- it will be a Water Fast at least to start, then if I feel comfortable after the fast has gotten well under way I may try to go without water again. It's great having so much info on fasting at my fingertips to add to my experience for the first time ever!
