Waterless Fasting.

I know this is a water fasting forum but as this was several pages into a google search this looks like the best place to post my question. :) (The rest of the google search results of course are links to url's warning about the dangers of fasting) Waterless fasting is the type of fasting that has really struck me as the best way of balancing the body systems, and it seems to work best for my body also. I first tried long term fasting about 7 or 8 years ago. First for 10 days and then not long after for 30 days. Being my first time around I wasn't sure about the water side of things not having anyone to talk to about this sort of thing back then.. so I chose to have a glass of water a day. This worked fine, right through the 30 day fast, I continued working, a fairly physical job requiring manually lifting, and trained and taught karate the whole way through. One thing I didn't do on the 30 day fast was use my bowels. That didn't bother me too much as I had no discomfort and wasn't exactly putting pressure on them at the time. But after a lot of thought I decided to try fasting without water to see if that's why I wasn't regular while the people I had read about had been during their long term fasts. It worked, I have done a few short term fasts since then, the longest being five days and each time I have remained regular. The five day fast I was intending to do longer but I was waterless in summer and working on a hot sunny day and probably went too long without water, so I gave in to the urge to break it with water then plenty of juicy fruit. (I prefer fruit to juice as it's a slower cleansing, juice being far more concentrated- also I'm not a fan at all of enema's and juice of course has no fibre to create a bowel motion.) I am now finishing my fifth day of a new fast, again without water. It's early spring and I'm not about to let happen what happened last time obviously. I've remained regular though yesterday I had gastric pains and had half a glass of water which helped push the mess through. I know that technically I could go a week without water for at least seven days- I think maybe ten is about the record- but that doesn' mean that's gonna be good for me or what I need to do. I was wondering if anyone here has experience with No Water Fasting and how often as the fast gets longer they have needed to drink. I already think I'm getting a feel for my water needs which is the whole point of fasting, to listen to your body, but anyone's personal experience with this would be awesome. Thanks. :)
