Sodium ascorbate is what I take. When I first started I needed 1 and 1/2 tsps 3 times a day to get to bowel tolerance. I must have been more toxic at the beginning. Now I'm good with 1/2 tspn 3 times per day. I also believe we fluctuate according to the bodies needs. I used to take smaller amounts and they had no effect on me, so I thought vit c is not for me, until I read about the bowel tolerance amount and I truly got a good cleanout with the sodium ascorbate.
