I seem to have gone on a beet kick, eating 3-4 beets every day for the last several days, some raw, some cooked. I love the beet greens, but have not been able to find them, so just plain beets. It is not that I crave the beets; I just know they are good for me, and I have run into good deals on them and said, why not?
I saw your methionine posts and noted the reference to betaine. I know years ago when I took digestive enzymes, only the ones with betaine hydrochloride helped me.
Can you give me an idea on how, if anything, this relates to methionine, and anything else you know about beets. I have seen two previous posts from you on beets, but no details.
