When I came out of gall bladder surgery they gave me 2 huge vicadins by mouth on an empty stomach. A very stupid thing to do to me. I wound up sick and in extreme pain for 2 months - not until I took some magnesium did I come out of that and now I am realizing from your post that since I had an iv in me the whole time I must have been getting acid pumped into me along with morphine.

Wow did I ever make the wrong decision about that gall bladder thing. So I was both monumentally constipated from the drugs and acidized from the IV and they never did figure it out even after many test and 2 cat scans etc. Are they just stupid about their profession or what? I finally got better by self medicating with the magnesium.

You'll figure it out - at least you have some brains. And as mh says your mind is a lot of the healing...
