a bad thing happened

I was finished oil pulling and as I got up to go to the bathroom to spit it out I seemed to lose all control and it came spurting out of my mouth on to the carpet!!!!!

I rubbed it down with peroxide but I don't know if that would do the trick - if it were a white carpet I would use bleach on it.

I don't know how it happened - it was so fast! I will now do it only while I am showering in the bathroom.

Any suggestions?
