Just a word in defense of nurses - I have known a number of them and they were all very kind and loving people - they had gone to nursing school as a means of helping others while having a service to offer in order to make a living. They began their training early in their lives and had been indoctrinated from an early age as we all are. I would bet some had never heard of herbs etc. as teenagers when they decided to enter the profession. I myself only became aware of natural healing in my early twenties. But I never went to college so my indoctrination ended by the time I left CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL.

Most that I know are very open to exploring many alternative practices and do but they are much more cautious than I am because their indoctrination has been much more extensive - Also I do not know a one who drives a BMW and they are not raking in big bucks or owning huge homes - One I know owns a trailer and another rents a small house - They are pretty plain people that way. I don't blame them - rather I applaud them for their willingness to go against the grain to the extent that they do considering the level of indoctrination they have been subjected to. They are the ones who provide the care and do all the work - not the doctors - who ARE driving big cars and living lavish life styles and thinking they are gods gift to the planet.

My sweeties life was saved by a nurse when I took him to the emergency room a couple of years ago. He had been to several doctors for many weeks with severe pain and they all had mis-diagnosed his condition so he wound up with kidney failure and she saw it immediately and brought him back form death - it was just in time - he was grey and I thought for sure he was dying - and he was!

I'm sure there are nasty evil nurses as well - I never did meet any though - My dear friends'motto was always - first - DO NO HARM - I think that she would never knowingly do harm to anyone and she has a heart of gold believe me. But she did actually give me some bad advice once even though there is no doubt in my mind that it was sincerely what she believed was best.

Sorry to be so contrary this morning - I just felt that needed to be said mh - however, I do agree with you in general about the medical profession - especially the higher ups and I am really down on the deplorable insurance racket in this country. If broke a bone - I would want a doctor to fix it but - guess what - I have no insurance so I'm out of the loop - I'd go to the emergency room and be left with a monumental debt!
