When to take iodine

I came across a news article (I lost it when trying to research this further, so can't post the link here) that mentioned the body's natural Iodine cycle. It said your body naturally has less Iodine in the morning, so the time to supplement with the Iodine is lunch or evening (to maintain a natural cycle). Has anyone doing one or the other (morning or afternoon/evening) noticed a difference? I usually take my iodine first thing in the morning, but I'm going to try taking it in the evening, to see if maybe it'll help with my sleep disorder.
