Before my liver cleanses, for that week, I eat mung bean stew, steamed veggies and drink lots of apple juice. In fact, the apple juice is very satisfying. For that week (really 5 days) I'm in a frame of mind to do the
Liver Flush (as I'm sure you are, too). I don't want "cheat food", eating good things lightly feels good. I certainly could not do just raw food for five days. I don't think it's right for most people, especially if they have to go out there and work.
Do the apple juice, do the tinctures from sensiblehealth, keep hydrated. That's what I do. Then I do a Saturday night drink of the lemon juice/olive oil potion and nature takes her course on Sunday.
So: it's a week of light, healthy eating with the appropriate supplements and preparation, followed by an overnight
Liver Flush (followed by enemas on Sunday and a
colonic on Monday).
