I agree with E.Virg. Olive Oil, and E.V. Coconut Oil, and the raw oils in whole seeds such as sesame and flax are good, as well. But Canola? I don't go anywhere near that stuff! In my opinion, that's the worst, which is what makes me sad when I see so many places switching to canola oil and proudly proclaiming it as making their product heart-healthy, etc. In my opinion, canola and soy oils are the worst.
Animal fats are ok I just worry about the dioxins built up in beef and butter, and other residues in fish oils. Doesn't mean I never eat butter or fish.
