lecithin question for MH
Hi MH
I am very interested in the lecithin as a liver flush. I unfortunately bought into the notion of surgery on my gallbladder about 5 years ago. I had been considering the lemon juice gall bladder cleanse and was talked out of it by a dear friend, who is an RN and I do believe she was well intentioned but too steeped in medical dogma. She was afraid the stone could get stuck in the duct if I tried that. Anyway, I did have the surgery because I was told that I could die from gall bladder disease if I let it go any longer..... and then after the surgury I was in severe pain for about a month - kept in the hospital for 12 days - given cat scans and numerous other tesst to try and determine why I was having such level 10 pain. They never figured it out and I was sent home with a bottle of vicadin. The pains finally went away after I began to take magnesium and my theory is that I was totally constipated from the anesthesia and the subsequent daily doses of morphine. A pretty gruesome tale I would say huh?
Right now I am suffering from a sciatic pain in my leg that has me unable to work since I am a graphic designer and I work on the computer. I cannot sit for long periods but I cannot stand for long periods either. Anyway I am now seeing a chiropractor and even after just 2 sessions I am feeling about 50% improvement from what i was experiencing over the weekend which was constant excruciating pain that almost had me tearing out my hair. Still I cannot sit a the computer and work yet.
So this current illness has me wanting to do a lot of cleansing of my body. I have already improved it somewhat, and am trying to eliminate all toxic foods and to live a more natural lifestyle. I used to spend a lot of time outdoors - hiking and enjoying the sunshine but these days my body is in pretty bad shape as I have had plantar fascitiis in my feet and cannot be on them for very long. I don't get the exercise that I am used to getting and I am really wanting to be able to be active again in the out doors - go hiking and camping and sleep out under the stars you know? The chiropractor did some testing on my feet and it turns out that they are both flat - but the right is much worse than the left. I didn't ever know that I had flat feet.
So I am thinking I had better change my lifestyle and my diet. The thing is that I am allergic to beans and soy and I am wondering if lecithin made from soy would be bad for me or since it is not all of the bean maybe it would not cause any problem. I think the bean and soy allergy is probably from a build up of toxins in my system and I might not have an allergic reaction if I were to clean out the toxins.
Sorry to be long winded about this.... I have been reading some of your writings and a lot of what you say really resonates with me. I never knew that lecithin was a cleanser. I would like to try it.
I am assuming that you must be vegetarian since you don't recommend lecithin from eggs - are you?
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
blessings to you
