In 2001, I lived 5 miles from the World Trade Towers. I remember Mayor Guiliani's speech that day saying that "the rumors that the building fell because of explos..." (then someone quickly came up from behind, grabbed his shoulder and said something to shut him up).

I used to deliver office supplies to those buildings every day (my company went out of business months earlier, if not, I would have been in the rubble). Those buildings were each about 100 stories tall and were very sturdy, but the buildings fell STRAIGHT DOWN (even though the planes did not hit them VERTICALLY). The planes hit the buildings DIAGONALLY (at about the 90th floors). Even though the planes hit DIAGONALLY, the top part of the buildings did not slide off the part of the buildings below the impact point of the planes.

I also didn't hear of 500 or so funerals around the country,...this would be a normal result of two plane crashes,..and the press would jump on that if there were.
Then, add another couple of hundred funerals from the other two planes (Pennsylvania and the Pentagon).

There have been inquiries into the wreckage at the Pentagon. A picture of an aircraft wheel that was claimed to be from the wreckage was not the proper configuration of an airliner wheel.

In 1962, Operation Northwoods was a gov't. scheme meant to gather public support for war with Cuba because Kennedy wouldn't go along with starting war with Cuba.
