Re: Few Options

I can really sympathise with you there. I've been eating the same small variety of things for years. I was sick initially ( when I finally realised what was wrong ) that I was intolerant to almost all foods. I'm not kidding. My gut was very leaky. The nurse prac I used to see just stared at the food allergy profile results with dismay. Unfortunately there aren't any easy solutions. This is HARD. The only comfort I can give you is that as soon as you start to make progress you'll be able to manage more variety of foods. Now that my candida is way way down I can eat way more grains, as long as they are gluten free. And I've been tolerating fruits fine in small servings. But its taken a LONG time to get here :-(. It may not take you as long though. I used to react even to meat. The candida would eat everything. Just goes to show it can survive on anything. The diet is really for symptom management only in my opinion ( but very necessary so you won't feel like you're dying ).
